Eftsure inside Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is not a standalone module — it extends the Accounts Payable forms your team already works in every day. Wherever you manage vendors, process invoices, or generate payments, Eftsure’s UI elements and controls are right there alongside you. This page explains which D365 forms are covered and what capabilities each one gains.

Accounts Payable coverage overview

Eftsure covers and automates fraud prevention across the three main modules of the procure-to-pay lifecycle in D365 Finance:

Vendors

Manage your vendor master with full Eftsure visibility and all vendor management actions available from the record.

Invoices

See real-time risk signals at invoice time so your team can take corrective action before a payment is ever created.

Payments

Prevent incorrect or unverified payments from leaving your organisation at the final checkpoint.

UI elements added to covered forms

Every covered form gains the same consistent set of Eftsure UI elements. This means your team learns the interface once and it works the same way everywhere.

Covered modules in detail

Vendors

The Vendors module is where Eftsure’s broadest set of capabilities is available. Every vendor record and vendor list form is extended with the full Eftsure UI. What you can do from Vendors forms:
  • See the complete Eftsure status icon bar for any selected vendor — verification, government code (ABN), tax registration, and email validity.
  • Trigger any Eftsure action: send onboarding invitations, request details, initiate bank account verifications, set payment limits, apply self-certification, expire bank accounts, and more.
  • Use the Eftsure Filter to narrow vendor lists by verification status or on-hold status.
  • Access bank account grids with per-row Eftsure status icons.
  • Synchronise vendor data between D365 and the Eftsure platform in either direction.
  • Navigate directly to the Eftsure portal for the selected vendor or bank account.

Invoices

The Invoices module gives your accounts payable team a critical early-warning layer — catching vendor status issues at invoice time, before a payment journal is ever created. What you can do from Invoice forms:
  • See the Eftsure payment recommendation icon for the selected invoice, showing whether the vendor’s bank account status is safe to proceed.
  • Take corrective action directly from the invoice form to resolve a verification issue before it delays payment.
  • Use the Eftsure Menu to trigger verification requests or send communications to the supplier without leaving the invoice.
  • Access toolbar shortcuts to navigate to the vendor record or Eftsure workspace for more detail.
On invoice forms, the icon bar shows only the payment recommendation icon (not the full icon set). Hover over it for a tooltip explaining any blocks or risks associated with the current vendor.

Payments

The Payments module is the final checkpoint in your procure-to-pay process. Eftsure’s controls here are designed to prevent unverified or mismatched bank account details from reaching your payment file. What you can do from Payment forms:
  • See the Eftsure payment recommendation icon for each payment line, confirming whether the destination bank account is verified.
  • Use the Eftsure Filter on payment journal lines to identify and isolate any unverified payments before processing.
  • Trigger last-minute verification requests or urgent verification support tickets from the Eftsure Menu.
  • Access portal links to review the vendor’s Eftsure record before approving a payment run.
If a vendor’s bank account shows an orange or red status on the Payments form, do not proceed with the payment until the status has been resolved. Contact the vendor or raise an urgent verification request using the Eftsure Menu.

Procure-to-pay risk coverage at a glance

The table below shows which key Eftsure capabilities are available at each stage of the procure-to-pay lifecycle:
Coverage extends to all standard D365 AP forms within these three modules, including list pages, detail forms, and journal forms. If you use a third-party or partner AP solution alongside D365, check with your implementation partner whether additional coverage packages are available.
