A change request lets you ask an existing, already-verified vendor to resubmit changed details — such as a new bank account number, updated trading name, or revised contact information — directly through the Eftsure portal. Rather than manually editing the vendor record yourself, you place the responsibility for supplying the new details on the vendor, which maintains the integrity of the verification trail. Use a change request whenever a supplier already in the Eftsure portal notifies you that their details have changed.
The change request workflow follows the same steps as onboarding once the vendor submits their updated information. Pending change requests appear in Eftsure Workspace > Onboardings.

Trigger a change request

You can start a change request from two places in D365.
  1. Go to Accounts Payable > Vendors > All vendors.
  2. Select the vendor whose details need to change.
  3. Click Eftsure > [Available in Eftsure] > Request details.
  1. Go to Eftsure Workspace > Vendors.
  2. Select the vendor whose details need to change.
  3. Click Eftsure > [Available in Eftsure] > Request details.

Complete the Request details wizard

1

Review pre-populated fields

Because the vendor already exists in D365, all mandatory fields are auto-populated from the existing vendor master record.
2

Select which details to request

In the Request details form, tick the specific information you are asking the vendor to update. You can request any combination of:
  • Bank account details
  • Trading name
  • ABN / government registration number
  • Address
  • Contact information
3

Send the invitation

Click Send invite. Eftsure sends the request form to the vendor. The change request appears in Eftsure Workspace > Onboardings with a Pending status.

Bulk change requests

You can send change requests to multiple vendors at the same time. Select several vendors in the Eftsure Workspace or All vendors form before clicking Request details. When multiple vendors are selected, the wizard does not open — D365 sends individual request emails to each vendor using the default change request email template.

Accepting a change request

Once the vendor submits their updated details, the Eftsure verification team validates the new information.
1

Monitor the status

Track the change request in Eftsure Workspace > Onboardings. The same onboarding status lifecycle applies: Pending → Awaiting verification → Accepted (or Customer assistance if Eftsure needs your help).
2

Review and accept

When the status reaches a reviewable state, open the record and click Accept to apply the verified changes to the vendor master file. Refer to the legend in Eftsure Workspace > Onboardings for full status descriptions and required actions.
If the change request reaches Customer assistance status, follow the same steps as for onboarding customer assistance: review the reason, click Verification retry, and supply updated contact details so the Eftsure team can continue. See Onboarding — Customer assistance for the full steps.
