Government registry services
Eftsure currently supports real-time lookups and/or validations for the following countries and registries:
Each service requires an API key configured in Eftsure parameters → GovCode. See API Keys for setup instructions per provider.
ABN (Australia)
The ABN Comfort Pack enhancements help users enter and validate Australian Business Numbers against the Australian Business Register. Lookup by name searches the ABR in real time and displays results with a confidence score. Lookup by number returns a single detailed record. Once selected, ABN numbers are displayed with two shortcut icons that link directly to the ABR website for quick verification, and a tooltip shows the matching ABN registration details. When an ABN is entered in D365, Eftsure validates it against the ABR for both format and registry existence. If the ABN does not already exist in the tax number table (TaxVATNumTable), it is created automatically. Both interactive and non-interactive sessions enforce validation — if the ABN format is invalid, field and record-level validations will fail.
ABN lookup is available everywhere an ABN or VAT Number field appears in D365, including vendors, customers, and legal entities.
VIES (Europe)
The VIES Comfort Pack enhancement validates European VAT numbers against the VAT Information Exchange System. When a VAT number is entered, Eftsure checks it in real time and surfaces the validation result at the point of data entry and during Payee check workflows.Maps and address services

All three providers support international addresses for most countries. Pricing for each provider is outside the scope of this documentation — check directly with the relevant vendor. See API Keys to set up your preferred provider.
Setting up Maps before configuring the Addresses autocomplete feature will improve the overall setup and testing experience.
Address autocomplete
When autocomplete is enabled, a new search control appears on any address creation or modification form across D365 — including vendors, customers, company, vendor collaboration, sales orders, and purchase orders. As you type an address, results appear in real time, just like a personal maps application. When you accept a suggestion, D365 fills in all matching address components automatically. If any required address components (states, counties, cities, postcodes) do not yet exist in D365, the system can either prompt you to create them or create them automatically, depending on the Auto create missing setting. The autocomplete feature populates the following address attributes where available:- Street number and street name
- City and postcode
- County and state
- Country
- Latitude and longitude
A test map embedded in the parameters screen lets you verify your provider configuration before rolling it out to users. If no map provider is configured, results display in JSON format.
