Comment
The Comment feature sends a message directly to the email address the supplier registered with Eftsure. It is the fastest way to communicate with a vendor and automatically records the exchange in the Eftsure interaction history.1
Select the vendor
Open any vendor who is available in Eftsure — from the All Vendors list, the vendor detail form, or any applicable AP form.

Open the Eftsure menu
Select the Eftsure menu from the ribbon or action pane.

Select Comment
Choose Comment from the menu options.

Write and send
Type your message in the text field and select OK to deliver it to the supplier via Eftsure services.

Select Email
Choose Email from the menu options.

Set recipients
The recipient grid is pre-populated with the vendor’s known contacts. Add or remove addresses as needed.

Compose your message
Enter your message in the bottom-left section. You can apply a Snippet (a reusable text block configured in Eftsure Parameters > Snippets) to insert a pre-written message quickly.

Select an email template and preview
In the bottom-right section, select the email template you want to use. The preview updates to show what the supplier will receive, including any placeholders resolved with real vendor data.

Send
When you are satisfied with the message, select Send. The email is added to the D365 outgoing email queue.
Emails are added to the D365 outgoing email queue — they are not sent immediately. Delivery depends on your administrator having configured the batch email service. Use the batch email sending status button (permission required) to check whether your email was successfully sent. For setup details, see Configure email in D365.
Using placeholders
You can include dynamic placeholders anywhere in your message body or snippets. Eftsure resolves these automatically when the email is generated:If you want the snippet message body to appear inside the email template, make sure your email template includes
%Message% at the correct position.
